Justin Grunwald founds PC Closure
Justin Grunwald founds PC Closure, starting out by designing websites and fixing computers for family and friends.
- 2009
First office
PC Closure opens its first office on Sealy Street in downtown Chicago.
- 2010
Help desk for home-based businesses
Services expand to a computer help desk for local home-based businesses.
- 2011
First employee
Kenton Eberling joins as the company’s first employee.
- 2012
Business infrastructure
PC Closure begins supporting local businesses’ computer and network infrastructure.
- Oct 2013
First acquisition
PC Closure acquires a sole-owner IT services company and expands into property management, construction, private security, law firms, and financial firms.
- Early 2015
Lockport, IL
The office moves to Lockport, Illinois, and the team adds another employee.

Lab9 Inc. acquired
PC Closure acquires Lab9 Inc.

Ten years in
PC Closure marks its 10-year milestone, a decade since the work began in 2006.

The company purchases its first office condo, on Division Street.

Work begins for a nationwide franchise, along with the company’s entry into the Audio & Video market.

Twenty years of roots, and a new home base
Twenty years after PC Closure began in 2006, VEXitEY marks the milestone by purchasing a new office building in Mokena, Illinois, with more than 3,500 square feet of office and storage space.

VEXitEY grew out of PC Closure. The name changed, but the work, the standards, and the way we treat clients carried straight through. The owners bring more than 50 years of combined experience, and it shows up in small decisions: which equipment to buy, how to lay out a network so it can grow, and when a fix is enough.
You do not need to know the technology. We look at what you have, tell you what we would do and what it costs, and put it in writing before anything moves.
