IT that keeps the school day moving.

Managed IT, Wi-Fi, classroom technology, and security for schools, campuses, and education organizations. One partner for the network, the devices, and the people who use them.

Why schools are different

A school runs on a schedule. The technology has to keep up.

When the bell rings, the Wi-Fi, the projectors, and the staff logins all have to work at once. A problem at 8:05 is felt in every classroom.

Most schools also run lean on IT staff. VEXitEY gives the building a team to call, and a plan for the work that does not fit around teaching.

What schools deal with

The common problems.

Many devices connecting in the same rooms at the same time.

Displays, projectors, and audio that need to just turn on.

New users every term, and access that should end when someone leaves.

Student and staff information kept on systems that are watched and backed up.

Campuses and sites that should be set up and supported the same way.

What we do for education

The building, the network, and the people on it.

Support for staff

Passwords, new users, printers, and a slow machine. Remote first, on site when someone has to be in the room.

Wi-Fi and networks

Firewalls, switches, and access points planned for classrooms, offices, and common areas.

Classroom technology

Displays, audio, and the devices teachers use, installed by our technicians and supported after.

Security

Network audits, account reviews, and email protection. VEXsecure when the school wants the full platform.

Accounts and cloud tools

Microsoft 365 and the other cloud tools staff use, with accounts set up and closed out on time.

Backup and recovery

Offsite backup for the systems that matter, and a restore when something is deleted or locked.

Cabling and buildouts

New wings, moved classrooms, and network closets, pulled and labeled by our own technicians.

Beside your IT staff

If the school already has an IT person, we can take a defined slice: coverage, security, or projects.

How engagement works

Start with a look at what is there.

  • 1. Walk-throughWe review the network, the devices, and how the school uses them.
  • 2. Plan and quoteWhat we would fix, what we would support, and what it costs, named up front.
  • 3. Ongoing supportA monthly plan, project work, or both, with one team to call.

Our own technicians

The install stays in house.

Cable, racks, networks, and audio and video are installed by VEXitEY technicians, not a third-party vendor. The people who build it are the people who support it. Districts with many sites can use the same multi-location standards we build for franchise brands.

E-Rate

Planning a network project around E-Rate.

E-Rate is the FCC program, run by USAC, that helps eligible schools and libraries pay for internet access and the network inside the building. Many school Wi-Fi and network upgrades are planned around its funding calendar.

  • Scope the work earlyA walk-through and a written scope of the network, Wi-Fi, and cabling you want to fund.
  • Clear equipment and labor listsLine items your E-Rate consultant or business office can work from.
  • Install and support afterThe same technicians install it and support it once it is live.

Ask us how we can support your school's E-Rate project. See our structured cabling and full services catalog.
